關於「刪除試題」的說明
每年考試，香港考試及評核局如果認為多項選擇題試卷中某些試題欠理想，通常都會把這類試題酌量刪去。根據過往經驗，上述決定基於不同的理由；最常見的是由於試題的甄別力弱，未能把不同程度的考生分辨出來，换言之，大多數考生答题都只憑膽度。保留這類試題，恐會降低測試的效能，所以不得不把它刪去。這類試題雖決定在考試中刪去不用，但仍刊登在試題專輯內，予以標明，而本年的考試報告或會提出討論。

General note on item deletion
It is normal for the HKExA to delete a small number of items from its multiple-choice question papers if they prove unsatisfactory. In practice, there are a number of reasons why this is considered necessary. By far the most common reason for deleting an item is that the item fails to discriminate between weak and able candidates – in other words, the majority of the candidates involved had to rely on guesswork in answering that question. If such an item is retained, the measurement process is rendered less effective. Where items have been deleted in the live papers, they are still included in this series of publications. They are indicated as deleted items. Such items may be discussed in the examination reports.

本試卷必須用中文作答 兩小時三十分鐘完卷（上午八時三十分至上午十一時）
考生须知 (一) 本試卷分甲、乙兩部。考生宜於約45分鐘內完成甲部。 (二) 甲部為多項選擇題，見於本試卷中；乙部的試題另見於試題答题薄B内。 (三) 甲部的答案須填寫在多項選擇題的答题紙上，而乙部的答案則須寫在試題答题薄B所预留的空位内。考试完畢，甲部之答题纸與乙部之试题答题簿B须分别缴交。 (四) 試題答题薄B的第20页印有周期表。考生可從該周期表得到元素的原子序及相對原子質量。
甲部的考生须知（多项选择题） (一) 細讀答题纸上的指示。宣布開考後，考生須首先於適當位置貼上電腦條碼及填上各项所需资料。宣布停筆後，考生不會獲得額外時間貼上電腦條碼。 (二) 試場主任宣布開卷後，考生須检查试题有否缺漏，最後一题之后應有「甲部完」字樣。 (三) 各题估分相等。 (四) 全部试题均须回答。為便於修正答案，考生宜用HB鉛筆把答案填在答题纸上。錯誤答案可用潔淨膠擦將筆痕徹底擦去。考生須清楚填寫答案，否则會因答案未能被辨認而失分。 (五) 每题只可填一个答案，若填多个答案，则该题不给分。 (六) 答案错误，不另扣分。

2015-DSE CHEM PAPER 1A HONG KONG EXAMINATIONS AND ASSESSMENT AUTHORITY HONG KONG DIPLOMA OF SECONDARY EDUCATION EXAMINATION 2015 CHEMISTRY PAPER 1 8:30 am - 11:00 am (2 hours 30 minutes) This paper must be answered in English GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. There are TWO sections, A and B, in this Paper. You are advised to finish Section A in about 45 minutes. 2. Section A consists of multiple-choice questions in this question paper, while Section B contains conventional questions printed separately in Question-Answer Book B. 3. Answers to Section A should be marked on the Multiple-choice Answer Sheet while answers to Section B should be written in the spaces provided in Question-Answer Book B. The Answer Sheet for Section A and the Question-Answer Book for Section B will be collected separately at the end of the examination. 4. A Periodic Table is printed on page 20 of Question-Answer Book B. Atomic numbers and relative atomic masses of elements can be obtained from the Periodic Table.
