本詳卷參考乃香港考試及評核局為今年文科考試而編寫,供閱卷員參考之用·本詳卷參考之使用,均受制於閱卷員有關之委任條款及閱卷員指引·特别是:

本局擁有此份詳卷參考的所有財產權利(包括知識產權)·在未經本局書面批准下,閱卷員均不得覆製、發表、透露、提供或以其他方式使用詳卷參考之全部或其部份·在遵守上述條款之情況下,本局有限地容許閱卷員可在應屬香港中學文憑試的考試成績公布後,將本詳卷參考提供任教本科的教師參閱。

This set of marking guidelines has been prepared by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority for the reference of markers. The use of the marking guidelines is subject to the relevant appointment terms and Instructions to Markers. In particular:

The Authority retains all proprietary rights (including intellectual property rights) in this set of marking guidelines. This set of marking guidelines, whether in whole or in part, must not be copied, published, disclosed, made available, used or dealt in without the prior written approval of the Authority. Subject to compliance with the foregoing, a limited permission is granted to markers to share this set of marking guidelines, after release of examination results of the current HKDSE examination, with teachers who are teaching the same subject.

Under no circumstances should students be given access to this set of marking guidelines or any part of it. The Authority is counting on the co-operation of markers/teachers in this regard.
Marking Guidelines
General Instructions for Markers

The marking guidelines will only list a set of suggested marking criteria for each question for markers' reference. They should not be regarded as sets of model answers. Alternative answers are also accepted as long as they are reasonable.

Markers should mark positively. They should give credit to what is in the answer rather than starting with a rigid, preconceived view of what the answer ought to be. Answers should be holistically marked and the marks awarded should reflect the overall quality of the answer.

When it comes to stand points and points of view, there are no "wrong" answers. Candidates are entitled to take any position they wish on an issue. They are not to be marked on the correctness of their views or on how close their views correspond to those of the marker. What counts is whether they can put forward a well-reasoned view.

The whole range of marks for each question should be fully utilised. Markers should not be tempted to give a "safe" mark, because this will lead to the bunching of many scripts around the marks in the middle, thus lessening the effectiveness of the question in differentiating between candidates of different levels of ability.

A script scoring the top mark range need not be perfect. It may contain minor flaws in content, approach or presentation.

(一) 本卷共設三題,各題全答。
(二) 試題答题簿在本試卷內。把答案寫在試題答题簿中预留的空位內。寫於本試卷内的答案將不予評閱。
(三) 不可在各頁邊界以外位置書寫。寫於邊界以外的答案,將不予評閱。
(四) 宣布開考後,考生須首先在試題答题簿第1頁之適當位置填寫考生編號,並在第1、3及5頁之適當位置貼上電腦條碼。
(五) 如有需要,可要求派發補充答题紙。每一張紙均須填寫考生編號、填畫試題編號方格、貼上電腦條碼,並用繩綁於薄內。
(六) 試場主任宣布停筆後,考生不會獲得額外時間貼上電腦條碼及填畫試題編號方格。
(七) 本科著重考核考生能否清晰、簡潔及合乎邏輯地闡述和支持其觀點,而非背誦資料的能力。

This paper must be answered in English
(1) This paper consists of three questions. Answer ALL questions.
(2) The Question-Answer Book is inserted into this Question Paper. Write your answers in the spaces provided in the Question-Answer Book. Answers written in this Question Paper will NOT be marked.
(3) Do not write in the margins. Answers written in the margins will not be marked.
(4) After the announcement of the start of the examination, you should first write your Candidate Number in the space provided on Page 1 of the Question-Answer Book and stick barcode labels in the spaces provided on Pages 1, 3 and 5.
(5) Supplementary answer sheets will be supplied on request. Write your Candidate Number, mark the question number box and stick a barcode label on each sheet, and fasten them with string INSIDE the Question-Answer Book.
(6) No extra time will be given to candidates for sticking on the barcode labels or filling in the question number boxes after the 'Time is up' announcement.
(7) Candidates are reminded that this subject emphasises the ability to present and support points of view in a clear, concise and logical manner, rather than the ability to recall facts.
